Assistant for property managers

We really enjoyed working on the new application. First, we got another common assignment to create a simple application. But after analysis and consultations with the client, we really embellished it. In the end, we had a really complicated project in front of us, which is definitely unusual. And we love that.

We like the challenge. But we are much happier when our work really helps someone. And this time we hit the nail right on the head.

We like to get into insidious home projects and attractive foreign opportunities. We have recently made a great effort beyond our borders. We were approached by the German company Brasche Immobilien, which takes care of real estate management with its own real estate service.

Finding housing on your own is a real challenge nowadays. Real estate agencies and management companies are thus often the preferred alternative. Simply pay for the services and throw the worries behind your head.

But don't think real estate managers have it easy. Exactly opposite.

And we admire them. Yes, the current way of accepting the job worked, but the system was relatively complex and demanding on daily administration. Having all the information about inspections and repairs in one place would definitely help.

Therefore, we have set ourselves the goal of creating an app that will provide greater efficiency, better overview and easy processing.

A simple app became a complex project

You guess right, it's our turn! There was nothing to think about, this task was exactly something for us. Solving absurd situations and making life easier is simply our mission.

So what was the original assignment?

We were tasked with creating an Android application through which authorized administrators would report damages and defects in properties owned by the company. The assignment itself was not complicated for us. Design a prototype of a new application? We are experts at that.

Easy peasy! Or not?

It soon became clear that the client's ideas about the application were greater than the original assignment. And at that moment, our eyes lit up. We worked out detailed specifications and graphic design and came to a new conclusion.

And we were definitely not bored. Far more functions were needed. We analyzed everything again and after consulting with the client, we were finally able to really jump straight into development.This is what the beginning of app Brasche Services was like.

We took care of the complete solution

But now for the creation itself. The assignment included several tasks. In addition, the client required a supplier who could handle them all without any problems. In other words, he needed us - the team from Dactyl Group.

We were in charge of several points:

• Analysis

• Graphics

• Development

• Support

But what was a tough nut to crack?

Hmm. We had to change our plans a bit, but that didn't bother us at all. We created a much more interesting project with everything. And we will be happy to crack such a nut at any time.

Then there was working with the API. Another company has already taken care of that before us, so you could say that it made our job easier. Not quite. Not everyone can move in an unknown interface. We do. Working with a foreign API was no obstacle for us either. We can easily adapt to any situation.

Let's not forget - part of the resulting application goes completely offline! We also played nicely with that.

Efficient work, modern functions and lots of goodies

Our task was to develop a mobile application that will provide administrators with the following:

• Better overview

• An effective solution

• Easier work

• Modern approach

And we succeeded very well. App Brasche Services will definitely pull the thorns out of the administrators' heels. Work schedules, damage reporting, maintenance, inspections… just a few taps and no worry. Everything necessary is now always at hand and in one place. All you have to do is log in.

Damage reporting? Yes! Active repair solutions? We can. Building history and other information? Sure thing..

A great advantage is the possibility to track your working time. Another problem solved!

How is it possible that it's working now? It's not a science. Each building has its own QR code. According to QR code, the administrator simply finds the property and the necessary information  in the app. No delays, no more complicated searches.

In addition, the full process is facilitated by a full-text search. For easy use, the data can be loaded into the app using a web application. We are not responsible for that, but it didn't stop us. Connecting applications to other systems is not a problem for us.
