Prague Visitor Guide

What if as a tourist you had an entertaining guide at hand, which would show you all the marvels of a given city and lead you to places that only the locals know about. The mobile app Prague Visitor Guide does exactly that. Even more, it contains an adventure game making it pretty fun. It does not lack a pinch of healthy competitiveness either as it compares the results with other visitors and citizens. 

Digital vademecum for tourists and locals

Prague City wanted to create a guide that would work offline while still having the option to be set and adjusted through a web administration. It was supposed to entertain its users, so the task included features of gamification. The concept was laid out, and it was up to us to analyze and design everything and create a high-quality solution. 

From the concept to the release in a record time

Prague came up with a concept of a mobile application containing a list of functions that were to be available to the user. The whole project had a time limit of four months. Before starting with the development, a detailed analysis, creation of wireframes, and system architecture took place. We designed a map with navigation, the option to go through the routes and to create one's information pages, and with game features, which we are familiar with thanks to the development of mobile games. All this while maintaining the app´s functionality without it needing an internet connection. 

When the design was decided and the graphics ready, we dived into developing the web administration and native mobile application for Android and iOS. The final system was handed to the client within the time limit despite a few requirements for changes, which we had received during the developing phase.
