LogEx: A Multiplatform App for Streamlined Logistics

A modern logistics application

LogEx Logistics, a leading provider of professional transport and freight forwarding services, set out to create a new application offering a unique solution for loyalty programs and transport requests in the logistics industry. This innovative app, developed using the Expo framework (React Native), provides multiplatform support and significantly enhances both internal processes and customer service.

A clear gift zone and loyalty services

The project didn’t start entirely from scratch. The client already had a gift zone integrated into their website, but communication was handled via email… and such a solution isn’t the most clear or efficient in the long run.

The main goal was to unify all loyalty services in one place while also creating a functional system for easier management of tickets and transport requests.

Based on specific requirements, we focused on improving the visual presentation and highlighting invoices to avoid unnecessary issues during the reimbursement process.

Multiplatform Development in React Native

The project followed a fairly standard process: from analysis and specifications to design, development, and finally testing. Along the way, we encountered some interesting challenges—but nothing that the team at Dactyl Group couldn’t handle.

We developed the application using the Expo platform in React Native, which enables true multiplatform usage - the same code essentially works on both Android and iOS. That’s why working in React required us to be especially meticulous.
