Quority: Web application for internal account management and reporting
While working on the Quority web application, we contributed to a revolutionary change in real-time management of advertising accounts. Say goodbye to complicated Excel sheets – this modern platform simplifies and streamlines data management and access for both employees and clients. With a new design and planned AI integration, we are introducing an innovation that will elevate data and account management to the next level. Read on to discover how this complex development process progressed.
Speed, flexibility and easy account management are key for both us and our customers. They contribute to more efficient campaigns as well as positive business outcomes. When we realized that there was nothing like this on the market, we decided to create our own tool. It addresses all the essential aspects of managing ad accounts, budgets, and campaigns while ensuring that every ad complies with platform requirements.
Account and data management under one roof
Quority is a sophisticated web application we developed for the international marketing agency Business Factory. The result is a comprehensive, centralized platform for managing accounts and advertising expenses.
The internal application is accessible to two types of users: Business Factory employees and clients. This system not only streamlines the company's internal processes but also provides clients with access to key data.
Thanks to integration with the Meta API, Quority enables bidirectional data management directly from the platform, eliminating the need to switch between different environments.
A new level of control and user comfort
One of the main challenges of the project was the integration with the Meta API. This process is complex, unpredictable, and often doesn't behave according to the official documentation.
The Dactyl Group team handled it in their own way.
We conducted a thorough analysis and testing to identify all potential issues in advance and minimize risks during the deployment of individual features.
An important part of the assignment was the centralised management of credits and advertising spending limits, which replaced the original unsatisfactory solution. Prior to this intervention, Business Factory staff had to work in the Facebook interface, which lacked the ability to aggregate data across clients and currencies.
Quority eliminated this need by providing a unified view of all accounts, with the ability to generate reports, statistics, and predictions.
Another important aspect of the project was ensuring a user-friendly interface. The original application was purely internal and did not prioritize aesthetics or UX. With the expansion of access to clients, it became essential to carry out a complete redesign, providing a modern look and making the application easy to use.
Separate development, even better result
One of the tasks was to separate the frontend and backend of the application into two independent technological units for autonomous development and easier maintenance. Each part was handled by a dedicated team of developers.
The frontend is built on Vue.js and communicates with the backend through an API written in PHP using the Laravel framework. Deployment of new application versions is managed via Docker containers, ensuring maximum stability and ease of future upgrades.
What was essential? Automated code checks, extensive testing, and careful deployment to ensure high development quality. Another key aspect was handling edge-case scenarios -especially since the Facebook API doesn’t always cooperate as expected, but that's nothing we couldn’t handle.
The future of Quority?
Quority has completely redefined the way Business Factory manages its advertising accounts. The platform provides real-time data, eliminating the need for manual tracking of reports in Excel. By automatically fetching and processing data, it gives both Business Factory employees and their clients quick access to essential information and statistics.
The Quority application is designed to be flexible and easily scalable. Plans include integrating additional features, such as AI-powered automated image checks, which will detect content violating Facebook's rules. This will lead to increased security and efficiency in managing advertising accounts.
